Welcome to My Personal Page

Hi -
I hate running. But I do enjoy working to provide healthcare for marginalized communities.
So on Saturday, October 24, I’m participating in Whitman-Walker Health's Walk & 5K to End HIV -- the longest running fundraiser for one of the largest providers of HIV care and healthcare to the LGBT in the D.C. area.
Whitman-Walker Health began serving D.C. LGBT community more than 40 years ago when few medical facilities would. Since then, the non-profit community center has expanded its health services to other communities and provide various services including primary medical care, dental health, COVID testing and treatment, substance abuse treatment, mental health care, legal services and more. A list of Whitman-Walker Health's services can be found on the organization's main page under "Services and Programs."
The economic downturn that has accompanied this global pandemic has hit non-profits especially hard at a time when their work is needed most. While there have been significant medical gains in HIV research, the virus remains at epidemic levels in some communities in D.C. And as D.C.'s population grows, so has the need to meet the healthcare needs of other communities, so I hope that you will support me in raising funds for this important cause.
Your donation will go toward lifesaving services that Whitman-Walker Health provides for thousands of men and women in our area living with HIV and AIDS—regardless of their ability to pay. And you will help fund critical prevention outreach and treatment programs that can help end HIV in D.C..
