34th annual Walk & 5K to End HIV
On Saturday, October 24, I’m participating in the 34th annual Walk & 5K to End HIV benefiting the HIV programs and services of Whitman-Walker Health. I hope that you will support me in my goal of raising funds for this important cause. HIV remains an epidemic in D.C. and Whitman-Walker Health focuses on services and education designed to prevent transmission of the virus and provide care to those who are infected.
The Walk & 5K to End HIV is a vital part of ensuring we have the resources to continue our support of at-risk and HIV-positive populations. That’s why I’m raising funds through this year’s Walk & 5K. Your donation will go toward lifesaving services that Whitman-Walker Health provides for thousands of men and women in our area living with HIV and AIDS—regardless of their ability to pay. And you will help fund critical prevention outreach and treatment programs that can help end HIV in D.C.
Thank you.
