Welcome to My Personal Page

Our 36th Walk to End HIV is October 22nd! This year has special meaning as the walk with be in Ward 8 where we will be opening our new Max Robinson Center in 2023. Whitman-Walker is on the cusp of transformative change to increase care delivery and services. We will add new community members to our network through care and through jobs. We will connect to new and old partners in our collective efforts to deliver integrated healthcare access for residents who have been historically under-invested in.
For us to deliver on this promise we need your support. The stakes of our Walk this year are all directly tied to our ability to "stick the landing" when we open the new Max Robinson Center in 2023. This center will allow us to quadruple the number of individuals we serve in Southeast DC, building new paths of access to care, research, and services, that we have been working towards for over a decade. To "stick the landing" - we will need your help.
For nearly 50 years, Whitman-Walker has been part of the DC community as a first responder for those living with HIV and a leader in LGBTQ+ care and advocacy. Today, WWH cares for more folks living with HIV (over 3500) than any other health care provider in the city and conducts more than 6,000 HIV tests per year.
The generosity you show through your donation, helps us to do our job. Your donation will go toward lifesaving services that Whitman-Walker Health provides for thousands of men and women in our area living with HIV—regardless of their ability to pay. And you will help fund critical prevention outreach and treatment programs that can help end HIV in DC.
I thank you.
