It has been the honor of a lifetime serving on the Board of Directors for the Whitman-Walker Health Clinic. And as a patient for nearly 10 years, I hesitate to wonder where I would be were it not for their primary care, pharmacy, dentistry, behavioral health therapy, public benefits navigation & more--all services that I've personally benefited from.
On Saturday, December 2nd, I’ll be running my FIRST 5K (please pray for me!!) by participating in the 37th annual Walk to End HIV benefiting the HIV programs and services of Whitman-Walker Health. I hope that you will support me in my goal of raising funds for this important cause. HIV remains an epidemic in D.C. and Whitman-Walker Health focuses on services and education designed to prevent transmission of the virus and provide care to those who are impacted.
The Walk to End HIV is a vital part of ensuring we have the resources to continue our support of our most vulnerable populations. That’s why I’m raising funds through this year’s Walk. Your donation will go toward lifesaving services that Whitman-Walker Health provides for thousands of people living with HIV and AIDS—regardless of their ability to pay. And you will help fund critical prevention outreach and treatment programs that can help end HIV in D.C.
Your support means the world to me & I'm sending love and light to you & yours in advance.
My best always,
