The Walk & 5K to End HIV is more than just a fundraiser at Whitman-Walker. The Walk symbolizes our continued efforts to find a cure for HIV and to stop the stigma surrounding HIV. This fight will take the entire community's support and commitment.

December 7, 2024: T-shirt pick-up opens at 8:00am onsite the day of the Walk
**Important Note: Roads into the park will close to traffic at 8:30am so plan your arrival accordingly.**

Taking Metro to the Walk to & 5K End HIV?
Get off at the Anacostia Metro Stop, head over to the “Kiss and Ride” lot, and hop on the FREE Anacostia BID “Art to Go-Go” Shuttle which will transport you to Anacostia Park.
The free shuttle runs every 5 min from 7:00am-8:20am, and then starts back up once the roads reopen to bring you back to the Metro.
