37th annual Walk & 5K to End HIV
Having worked at Whitman-Walker for almost 3 years now, I am more excited than ever for this year's Walk & 5K to End HIV. We have come so far since this event began 37 years ago, and we still have so much work to do. HIV remains an epidemic in D.C. and Whitman-Walker Health focuses on services and education designed to prevent transmission of the virus and provide compassionate care to those affected.
The Walk & 5K to End HIV is a vital part of ensuring we have the resources to continue our support of at-risk and HIV-positive populations. Your donation will go toward lifesaving services that Whitman-Walker Health provides to thousands of people in the area--regardless of their ability to pay. And you will help fund critical prevention outreach and treatment programs that can help end HIV in D.C..
