My First Timed 5K to End HIV - Please Join Me!
Hey friends, family, and supporters -
This Saturday, I?m lacing up my running shoes for something both exciting and meaningful: my very first timed 5K! It?s happening as part of the 39th annual Walk to End HIV, benefitting the life-changing work of Whitman-Walker Health.
Why this matters to me:
HIV continues to impact too many lives - right here in D.C. The dedicated care, education, and outreach programs offered by Whitman-Walker help prevent new infections and support people living with HIV - regardless of their ability to pay.
That?s why I?ve set a fundraising goal of $500. Every dollar brings us closer to providing:
Access to HIV testing, counseling, and prevention (including PrEP and PEP)
Comprehensive medical and mental health care for people living with HIV
Critical community outreach, support services, and educational programs
Being part of this event - and pushing myself to complete a timed 5K - means so much. Your support gives me extra motivation and fuels the mission to finally end HIV in D.C.
Will you donate today and help me cross that $500 mark? Even small contributions add up fast, and your gift - of any size - makes a real difference. And by the way, if we exceed $500, well let's keep pushing!!
Thank you for cheering me on, both on the race course and in the fight to end HIV. Let's do this together!
